Another large turn out for the Tolcarn Astronomy Group meeting last night. Kim did a lecture on our amazing star, then it was down to the main observatory complex to observe. Jupiter didn’t disappoint even with the moon giving off a lot of light, the Great Red Spot (GRS) was really sharp through the Meade 14 inch. My Takahashi was also set up with Stewart Ledburys newly purchased Triplet Apo. Thanks to everybody who braved the storm damage to be part of a great night. Looking forward to seeing you all at the next meeting. Keep an eye on the website for details.
Despite the extreme weather the Tolcarn Astronomy Group meeting is going ahead tonight 15th February starting at 7pm. Kim and Amanda are looking forward to seeing you all then.
